Book now. Every woman who is pregnant will be told about the nuchal scan as a way of detecting downs syndrome. In expert hands this nuchal screen alone can be very effective. With greater expertise, more anatomical checks can be made to give greater accuracy and rule out other anatomical conditions that may affect the pregnancy. Nuchal Scan for Down’s Syndrome

The week pregnancy ultrasound scan, or nuchal scan, is the first routine scan of pregnancy. You can have this pregnancy scan in London in our private clinic as a one-off or as the start of an ongoing relationship where we will offer diagnosis and support throughout your pregnancy.
